Crazy camping competition

crazycamping.gifKent's County Patrol Challenge Scouts in Kent, to spend at least one night in the craziest location they can (as long as it's safe!)

Whether it is on a boat, up a tower, in a tunnel, at a church, in a police cell.

Come up with your own ideas and be crowed Kent Scout's craziest campers!

  • This can be done with a friend or as a Patrol or Troop.
  • Scouts must hold a Patrol or Troop forum to come up with the craziest idea.
  • Scout Leaders run with the idea with as much input from the Scouts as possible.
  • Scouts must take a photo and produce a small article to tell us what they did.
  • You could also take video footage of your night.
  • Invite local press and try and get your night lots of publicity.

More than one badge can be worn so the more crazy nights you run the better!

There will be a prize given to the Troop of the Scouts deemed by the County Patrol, to have had the craziest night. The winners will win £200 worth of camping equipment for their Troop, courtesy of One Stop Scouting Ltd.

Send your entries for the attention of the County Patrol, to the County Office. On receipt of your entry the Scout Section Support Team will arrange to come along to present the badge.

Deadline for entry is the 1st November 2010.
