1st Gillingham - Troop of the Month - 14-11-2009

1st Gillingham - Troop of the Month news article

Troop name: ocelot troop

District: 1st Gillingham

Number of members: 25

Tell us why you should be Troop of the Month: I think ocelot troop should be troop of the month because we had a sleep over at woodlands youth centre.

While we were at woodlands youth centre there were kids from the youth club. We turned up at 6.45pm to be registered and then we went in and we had many choices of things to do we could do as follows: play pool, play  with football tables, play on the computers which had the internet, we could go in the disco room which my leader Darren Carter, I think he is really good at being a dj we could also go in the garden and run about or we could sit out the garden and chill, there was the room where we kept our bags which had 2 sofa's and a ps3 but we was not aloud to play on that is mainly where we sat and chilled. That night we all got our roll mats and we separated the hall for boys and girls and the boys went one side the girls on the other. We watched the Simpsons tree house of horror and then monsters vs aliens after that and then we went to sleep. When we got woke up by Darren by him playing music at 7.00am we tidied up and then had breakfast at about 8.ooam then we all just relaxed and  played on the footie table and the pc's and on the pool table ten at 9.30am our parents  turned up and took us home I loved it

I wish I could do it again. By Jake Wells
